Our Founding Story
Poco Sloss founded our company in 1980 as a ComputerLand franchise. He had grown the business to 20 locations and over 100 employees when in 2000 he transitioned to a managed IT services model. Since that time, the company has evolved as technology changed.

Wondering about the Bellwether name? Bellwether is a term used for a ram that leads a flock of sheep. The term later came to refer to someone who is a leader or trend-setter. We identify with this because the cutting edge of technology is where we like to be. And we’re not just leading our clients in the best use of technology, we’re leaders in our industry.

When you’re a Bellwether Managed IT client, you have a local team of 60+ people acting as all or part of your IT and cybersecurity departments.
